This policy explains what information FindHaveFun collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the FindHaveFun app and to findhavefun.com.

Who we are

FindHaveFun is operated at https://findhavefun.com. You can reach us at support@findhavefun.com.

What personal data we collect and why

When you register, you provide your name, username, email address, gender, birthdate, country and city, and you confirm you accept our GDPR data policy. We use this to create and secure your account, and so other members can find and recognize you.

You can optionally add a profile description, phone number, preferred language(s), and a profile photo — the more you fill in, the easier it is for the right people to find you. Leaving a field blank just means it won't be used to match you with others.

Find lets you search for other members by things like activity, city, gender and language, so you can find people who share what you're into.

What you create in the app

Chat: messages, images and voice recordings you send are stored so your conversations stay available, and are delivered to the people or groups you send them to.

Notes: notes you write, along with any @person, #topic or !priority tags you add, are stored against your account and are visible only to you.

Calendar: events you create — description, date/time or date range, whole-day or timed, notes and event type — are stored against your account. Only the friends or groups you choose to invite as participants can see an event.

Groups: if you create or join a group, other members of that group can see the group's shared events and messages.

Photos: you can choose an avatar from our template gallery or upload your own photo. Uploaded photos are stored and linked to your account.

Push notifications

If you allow it, we use your device's push notification token to let you know about new messages and other activity relevant to you. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.

Local device storage

So you don't have to log in every time you open the app, your session is stored securely on your device using the platform's standard secure storage. Signing out clears this.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Your notes, calendar events and messages are only visible to the people and groups you choose to share them with inside the app.

Analytics and tracking

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services, and we don't collect data about how you use the app beyond what's needed to run the features you use.

How long we retain your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data except where we're required to keep limited records for legal, security or administrative purposes.

Your rights and deleting your account

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account and its data, at any time by emailing support@findhavefun.com. We'll act on deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible, and no later than 30 days.

Children and age requirements

FindHaveFun is intended for people aged 18 and older, and registration requires confirming your date of birth. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if we become aware that we have, we will delete it.

Marketing

We do not currently show ads or send marketing messages. If that changes, we'll update this policy and give you control over your preferences in Settings.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page whenever we make a change that affects how we handle your data. The version posted here is always the current one.
