Over the Hills and Far Away

About this event

Tonight's concert features the three TYWO ensembles in performance with Guest Artist ADAM ZINATELLI, Principal Trumpet of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra - and also an alumnus of TYWO! Featured on the program is Respighi's beloved "Pines of Rome". Please join us! TYWO brings together young people to encourage and develop their musical skills in rehearsal, performance and on tour. Within three auditioned ensembles, musicians are challenged with a broad variety of repertoire and friendships are forged. The TYWO program promotes the essence of teamwork and builds confidence and interpersonal skills within a safe, barrier-free environment, open to all. Our product is music; our goal is to instil a lifelong relationship with music into the lives of our musicians and our audiences.
