Deep Red (1975)

About this event

A pianist witnesses the brutal murder of a psychic across the street and starts investigating on his own. Deep Red arrived in the middle of the Giallo movement's biggest decade, the Italian genre built on stylish, bloody murder mysteries and black-gloved killers, propelled by Argento's signature hypersaturation and Goblin soundtracks. Cinema Underground presents a peak in Argento's impressive filmography as a special single-day screening event.
