About this event
Martin Krusche*Happy Hour Free Concert Series* German-born tenor saxophonist Martin Krusche first visited New Orleans in 1995 and reportedly moved to the Crescent City just two weeks later. Though he has maintained ties to New York City and the contemporary jazz scene in the Northeast, New Orleans has remained his musical home. A versatile performer, Krusche has shared the stage with an array of local talents, including trumpeter Nicholas Payton, Iguanas drummer Doug Garrison, Dirty Dozen Brass Band sousaphone player Kirk Joseph, and percussionist Anthony Cuccia. His music reflects a deep connection to the city's vibrant and ever-evolving jazz scene.
